Hi, I'm Natalie!

I'm a Junior Application Developer at Viget and recent Computer Science graduate from the University of Michigan. After originally swearing off coding due to the trauma of trying to download Linux on a Chromebook in high school (thanks Dad 😅), I found my way to computer science in college and discovered my love for making things work through code.

I'm passionate about the tangible nature of web development - there's something incredibly satisfying about building applications that people can actually use and interact with on the internet. I love that moment when everything clicks and works, especially when you can hear it (like with Parakeet, a soundboard app I helped build that's now used in Viget meetings!).

• Ruby on Rails (learned at Viget and loving it!)

• Full-stack web development

I'm focused on growing as a developer while continuing down the never-ending path of learning!

Fun fact: I also have a degree in Romance Languages (French and Spanish, + a bit of Portuguese) - the pursuit of communicating in both human and machine languages!🤩
