I'm using the community edition of dbgate via a web browser.

Is there a way to display a binary ID as hex instead of base64 (see screenshot attached)?

With Spring Data MongoDB, I've defined a @ Id UUID id in my document class. With database viewers like mongo-express, the id got displayed as hex string, e.g. 79320e1b-4be5-4fe4-82a4-a11c46f0a6da. But with dbgate, it's displayed in the BSON structure (incl. subType) and encoded as base64.

I've tried several options to influence dbgate's behaviour, i.e. placing appsettings.json with "BinaryAsHex": true in the app's root folder, setting different environment variables with binaryAsHex (like SETTINGS_binaryAsHex) as well as passing the URL parameter ?$binaryAsHex=true to dbgate when opening it via the web browser. I've also tried to extend the MongoDB/DocumentDB connection string with ?uuidRepresentation=javaLegacy (or sth. similar), but nothing helped.

Does anybody have any clue?
