Describe the bug

When I press the trackball to switch off the screen, and then operate the trackball while the screen is off, weird things happen:

• When in a text input field, I get the digit 1 input. (Not always, somewhat random, the more I operate the trackball while screen off the more likely.)
• When I am in the Msgs overview, I end up in a channel view.
• In other places other menus might open.
