This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
npm installCreate a .env.local file in the root directory:
cp .env.example .env.localAdd your Unsplash API key (optional, but recommended for research card images):
NEXT_PUBLIC_UNSPLASH_ACCESS_KEY=your_unsplash_access_key_hereGet your free Unsplash API key:
- Visit https://unsplash.com/developers
- Register as a developer
- Create a new application
- Copy your Access Key
Note: Without an API key, the app will use placeholder images. See IMAGE_API_GUIDE.md for details.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
