This is inspired by something @justintadlock initially mentioned when he reviewed QuickPost on WP Tavern. TLDR; he wants to be able to open new posts in a new tab, instead of in the current window.

I like that idea, it's how normal links behave and it affords a certain level of flexibility I can appreciate in the context of QuickPost. In addition, I think duplicated posts should open in new tabs by default, rather than in the current window.

Or it could be interesting if a duplicate is created, and then you are given a link, which you can open right there or in a new window/tab, whatever you please.
