It triggered a refactoring as the used needs to be able to give an RTC to the implementation. Bonus 1: Way more cleaner codebase Bonus 2: Now we support external clock for calibration for everything. For example on a normal OS with a GPS attached etc...

This fixes the 32bit rollover on the 32bits platforms.
