First of all thank you very much for this great work!!!

I am using the bridgeCO/StreamUnlimited SeDMP module for streaming. This module is built into many high-quality hi-fi systems. In my case, I am using it in a ReVox M51, where it was offered as a MultiMediaModule.

The integration with ycast works well with one exception:
The icons are not displayed. After extensive testing with ycast, I discovered that the BridgeCo module requires a file extension for the station logos in the path. This is actually incorrect, but unfortunately, it cannot be changed.

The following URLs work:
#OK, path ends with *.jpg, ID as a parameter
http://192.168.178.17:5001/ycast/icon.jpg?id=RB_962f49e0-0601-11e8-ae97-52543be04c81

#OK, ID as part of the path, *.jpg appended
http://192.168.178.17:5001/ycast/icon/RB_962f49e0-0601-11e8-ae97-52543be04c81.jpg

But this does not work:
#NOK, path does not end with *.jpg, ID as a parameter
http://192.168.178.17:5001/ycast/icon?id=RB_962f49e0-0601-11e8-ae97-52543be04c81

#NOK, ID as part of the path without appended file type

Therefore, it would be helpful if a switch could be implemented that allows the original path (without adjustment) to be used for the station logos instead of the internal URL, which does not include the file extension.

I'm afraid you've mixed up the projects. This is the YTuner project, not YCast. YTuner is NOT a fork of YCast. YCast was just the inspiration for me to create YTuner. YTuner is a native application written from scratch in Free Pascal because Python is too slow and too heavy.
Please read README.MD

Test YTuner (choose the binaries appropriate for your OS and your CPU architecture... or build YTuner from source) and write what you would like to change/add or improve in YTuner.

Therefore, it would be helpful if a switch could be implemented that allows the original path (without adjustment) to be used for the station logos instead of the internal URL, which does not include the file extension.

YTuner does not rely on switches. There are tons of options and improvements that YCast doesn't have. All options with description are in ytuner.ini and avr.ini files. Read them carefully. Of course, I can add an option in which the URL includes the file extension as well as generate an "internal URL" that includes it or not and supports it... but before I do anything, test YTuner because, as I wrote earlier, I suspect you've mixed up the projects. 😉

It just have recognized, that I have not mentioned an important information in my first post 😉:
I am absolutely aware of the difference between ycast (python) which inspired you to write ytuner (pascal).
Two years ago I became aware of ycast and have adopted it to my personal needs. Since then I use this software as vtuner replacement. One adoption was, that I do not relay on the internal icon management as it has not worked for me.
As I saw your project with its heavy improvements to ycast (especially performance and filtering) I would like to switch to your implementation.
Yesterday I spent some time to deeply investigate what's the real problem of not displaying the icons.
To do so, I have used ycast. Finally I found out, that the software of my internet-radio-modul ignores any URLs which do not end with an image extension (e.g. .jpg) are simply ignored. When switching to such a station it does not inform client applications with this URL, it is just suppressed.
Therefore it would be great, if the path to internally handled icons would be configurable in ytuner similar to IconCache in ytuner.ini, e.g IconPathExtension=.jpg. And additionally the possibility to bypass the icon processing and to stay with the original icon URLs. Probably this could be done if IconCache=0.

Good to know that YTuner works for you. 🎶 May I add your "ReVox M51" to the "Confirmed Working" list?
In the next YTuner versions I will add a parameter that will control this. In 99.99% of cases nobody will need it, but you will find it useful. 👍

Yes, you can add ReVox M51 to the "confirmed working" list.
The mentioned behavior is part of the additional module for internet-radio which was developed/produced by StreamUnlimited.
As this module is also used by many other high class hifi-systems other equipment than ReVox M51 may benefit from this parameter as well. And for me it is very helpful 👍.

In the "Confirmed working" list there ist a copy/past error: The device is called "ReVox
M51", the word "Noxon" should be deleted.
