Describe the issue

I have a key binding for Mod-Alt-..

It worked in 6.38.0 and stopped working in 6.38.1 hence it's almost certainly a regression caused by fix for #1583

Same for Mod-Alt-] and Mod-Alt-[ bindings.

Or maybe there's a way to specify them in a way that will work?
