• I have searched for an existing issue, and could not find anything. I believe this is a new feature request to be evaluated.

What problem is this feature going to solve? Why should it be added?

As part of the changes to adopt the new policy on container images, we need to move to default image that has the Debian version in the name.

Describe the solution you'd like

Adopt the current stable Debian version (Trixie) and the latest minor for the latest major PostgreSQL version for the default image name. Please change also the automation mechanism that triggers the PR to update the value.
