  • A short explanation of the proposed change:
    Further improvements to the nginx drain script:

    • Check pid instead of pidfile to avoid side effects with bpm/monit
    • Reduce check interval to 1 sec
    • Send signal TERM if nginx is still alive after graceful shutdown period
