docs: rethink magazine-edit as editorial art direction#5
Merged
Conversation
Shift magazine-edit from prescriptive section-based theming to a content-driven editorial workflow with per-topic visual exploration, mockup-based feedback loops, and principles over rigid rules. Key changes: - Replace fixed section themes with per-topic visual research + mockups - Add user feedback loop before HTML production (show, refine, confirm) - Simplify review from 5-iteration rigid loop to awareness-based polish - Remove 100-line per-page subagent prompt (now optional tool) - Add layout awareness principles (line breaks, padding, whitespace) - Add QA exit criteria and inaccessible-asset fallback - Remove Twemoji integration (PDF bakes emoji at generation time) - Simplify Claw'd spec to identity anchors + freestyle per topic - Update CLAUDE.md to match new editorial workflow - Clean up design reference: keep tools, remove style prescriptions Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
/magazine-editfrom prescriptive software-style SOP to content-driven editorial workflowContext
Based on 26-03 session retro discussion. The core insight: making a magazine is not writing code — the workflow should reflect editorial art direction principles, not software QA processes.
