@JSkimming thanks again for the unit tests. I'm going to close this pull request to hide it from the list, it is linked to from #145 so won't get lost. We haven't forgotten about it, however as you already know it isn't a quick fix. |

This is not a functional PR, just an attempt to demonstrate a race condition in AbstractInvocation.
This demonstrates the issue I outlined in #145, specifically this comment.
