FabGL has German, Italian and Spanish keyboard layouts as well. so you could add them all. Maybe configure such that diacritics are returned as iso-8859-1 or CP1252. And don't block the ` character please. We can run with a true ASCII screen font if we want. Or iso8859-1/cp1252 fonts.
