At the moment there is no info about the schema in the bids-starter kit.

Given that this is not exactly "starter" material, I suspect this is a grey zone between documentation that could be in the BIDS specification repo (or the BIDS-schema repo?) and things that could be in the starter kit.

It might just be a matter of adding a link to the relevant section of the CONTRIBUTING.md from the specification (and adding some info in that document about what a schema actually is).

Update after transfer to the bids spec repo and following a BIDS maintainers meeting.

Focus the doc about the schema in the BIDS spec repo for now:

• add a README in the schema folder
• move some of the schema related content to that README and only keep in contributing.md info about how to modify the schema

• Also mention the schema on the BIDS website.
