This pull request updates the project to support PHP 8.5 and WordPress 6.9, replacing previous references to PHP 8.4 and WordPress 6.8 throughout the codebase, documentation, and CI configuration. These changes ensure compatibility with the latest versions and keep the development and testing environments up to date.

PHP and WordPress version updates:

  • Updated all references to PHP 8.4 to PHP 8.5 in configuration files (.wp-env.json, .github/workflows/main.yml, .github/.nginx/sites-available/localhost.conf), ensuring the development and CI environments use PHP 8.5. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
  • Updated WordPress version references from 6.8 to 6.9 in workflow scripts and documentation, aligning with the latest supported version. [1] [2] [3]

Documentation and badge updates:

  • Updated badges in README.md to reflect support for PHP 8.5 and WordPress 6.9.
  • Updated readme.txt to indicate compatibility with WordPress 6.9.
