It would be nice if the release notes for rules_go included the commands you needed to add to WORKSPACE to get it to work. This would make it easier to keep instruction up to date and would avoid folks having to download the tarball by hand and check the sha256 themselves.

Similarly, the README could be updated to point to those instructions, instead.
