If I run carl it highlights the current day by default, darkening all the previous days. For instance, running it today (September 29) I see this:

This is fine, since it's the current month.

However, if I run it for any other month it does the same thing. eg. running carl 2025 12 today (September 29) shows this:

which isn't what I'd expect.
