Description of changes:
pkg_resourcesis getting depreciated on 11/30/2025 in flavor ofimportlib.metadata. So, replacingpkg_resourceswithimportlib.metadata.This change migrates the entry point discovery mechanism in master_key_parsing.py from the deprecated pkg_resources.iter_entry_points() to the standard library importlib.metadata.distributions().
Changes:
• Replace pkg_resources.iter_entry_points() with importlib.metadata.distributions() and entry_points iteration
• Maintain backward compatibility by preserving the same entry point mapping structure
• Update import statements to use importlib.metadata instead of pkg_resources
