Investigate implications of arrow-rs dropping support for tracking dictionary ids in schema #1333
Description
What is the problem the feature request solves?
Arrow plans to remove dict_id from the Field struct. See apache/arrow-rs#5981 for more information.
It seems that Comet currently relies on using this dict_id to track dictionaries during FFI between Rust and JVM and removing it may require changes in Comet.
This ticket is for investigating this issue more.
