Bug Description

After updating to v1.15.6+ (currently on v1.15.12), the Desktop app is missing two features that were previously available:

  1. Console Terminal - The embedded command-line console/terminal panel that was displayed at the bottom of the session view is no longer accessible.

  2. "Open in File Explorer" option - Right-clicking on a directory or file no longer shows the option to open it in the system file explorer.

Environment

  • OpenCode version: v1.15.12
  • Platform: Windows
  • Installation type: Desktop app (.exe)

Expected Behavior

These features should be accessible either:

  • Through the new tab layout settings (if applicable)
  • Through the native app menu
  • Through right-click context menu

Additional Context

Looking at the changelog, the following releases made significant Desktop UI changes:

  • v1.15.6: "Added initial desktop tabs support" + "Added a native app menu on Windows"
  • v1.15.7: "Added a new desktop home view, session entry flow, and titlebar"
  • v1.15.11: "Added a setting to switch tab layouts"

These features may have been accidentally removed during the desktop UI refactoring.

Questions

  • Is there a setting to restore these features?
  • Will these features be re-added in a future release?
