Since API level 18, Context.getSystemService(Context.BLUETOOTH_SERVICE) can be used to retrieve a BluetoothAdapter for using Bluetooth in your application.

Unfortunately, the following code does not work:

public class SomeBean {

    @SystemService
    protected BluetoothAdapter bluetoothAdapter;

    /* etcetera ... */
}

It produces the following error:

Unknown service type: android.bluetooth.BluetoothAdapter
