An Expo (React Native) app to find nearby food assistance using OpenStreetMap, with extras like walkability scoring, favorites, and events.
Create a .env (or use EAS secrets) with:
- EXPO_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL
- EXPO_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY
- EXPO_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_PLACES_API_KEY (optional; used by utils/places-api.ts)
Notes:
- Supabase is initialized in
lib/supabase.tsusing EXPO_PUBLIC_ vars.
Install dependencies:
npm installStart the app:
npx expo start

Run native projects:
npm run ios

Using EAS:
npm install -g eas-cli

- Location permission strings are configured in app.json (iOS and Android).
- App icons and splash are configured in app.json and ios asset catalogs.
