This PR updates the Gradle wrapper from
7.5.1to8.12. Key changes include:https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-8.12-bin.zip.Rationale
Upgrading to Gradle 8.12 allows us to take advantage of newer Gradle features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. It also ensures compatibility with recent Android Studio versions and future Android releases.
