Sorry, I'm not sure we need this since we have the https://aframe.io/community/ page as a source of truth. We should probably get rid of some old issues that we don't need.

It's a standard maintained by mozilla afaik and not just related for a source of truth https://www.contributejson.org/ . I have seen it in many moziila repo's so probably required and should be added for A-Frame also? :)

It won't really do anything. A-Frame has many repos, and this isn't the main one either. There's a CONTRIBUTING in the A-Frame repo, and the community page in the site. I think it'd make things more confusing + clutter to have another file.

See https://github.com/servo/servo or https://github.com/rust-lang/rust repos. Also the original issue was for humans.txt, but I don't think it's necessary.
