What happened?
When a DX/cluster/RBN spot callsign marker falls within the currently active slice passband (the highlighted/shaded frequency region drawn by SpectrumWidget), hovering over the spot marker produces no tooltip. The spot label is visible, but mouse-hover over it is silent — no detail popup appears.
The passband shading overlay appears to consume or suppress the hover event before it reaches the spot marker's hit-test logic beneath it.
What did you expect?
Hovering over any spot callsign marker should display the spot detail tooltip regardless of whether that spot's frequency falls inside the current slice passband. The tooltip is a read-only informational overlay; the passband shading region should not interfere with spot hover detection.
Steps to reproduce
- Open AetherSDR and connect to the radio.
- Enable SpotHub so that spot callsign markers are visible on the panadapter.
- Tune the VFO so that one or more spot markers fall inside the current slice passband (the shaded region between the filter edges on the spectrum display).
- Hover the mouse cursor over a spot callsign label that is inside the passband.
- Observe: no spot detail tooltip appears.
- Click or drag the slice VFO flag to move the passband so it no longer covers that spot.
- Hover over the same spot callsign label again.
- Observe: the spot detail tooltip now appears normally.
