Crash on invocation (26.6.3) after adding 2nd panadapter #3714

Description

@mkoechel

Report preparation

  • I used the AI-assisted bug report tool (Help → Support → File an Issue)
  • I have attached a support bundle or log file

What happened?

Flex6600, PGXL, TGXL, AG on Win 11 Pro, running FT8

Single slice works well.

Added a second slice (not panadapter) so I could put Ant1 on a Vertical and Ant on a Dipole to see which worked best.

Couldn't get Ant2 to tune, so thought it might be a flex issue, so I went the panadapter route. Thought I selected side-by-side, but the 2nd panadapter stacked top/bottom.

AestherSDR crashed.

Now on invocation, it comes up very briefly:

Then crashes -- program doesn't stay up long enough to click "X" on 2nd panadapter.

Searching the web, I should modify a JSON file -- but I can't find that file in any of my directories (AppData or in the Program Files folders.

Is there a key sequence to start up bypassing settings?

I'm dead in the water now.

Thanks, Martin KW1M
