I used the AI-assisted bug report tool (Help → Support → File an Issue)
I have attached a support bundle or log file
What happened?
I'm having network stability issues in AetherSDR.
When I run AetherSDR on my MacBook Pro (16″, November 2004, M4 Pro, macOS Tahoe 26.5.1, 48GB RAM), the connection quality is “EXCELLENT”. After approx. 5-10 minutes, the connection quality changes to “PUR” (red). If I then disconnect and restart the app, the connection quality is "EXCELLENT" again for 5-10 minutes.
My local network consists of brand new, high-quality CAT-7 cable (laid under plaster, Telegärtner connection sockets) as well as a Cisco switch and a router (FritzBox 7590).
The problem is that during audio recordings (AetherSDR DAX), distinct crackling sounds (dropouts that cause the audio to become severely chopped up) are audible as soon as the connection quality drops below "EXCELLENT."
e
I specifically restarted my MacBook Pro for a test and didn't open any other apps except AetherSDR (the Chrome browser and Brave use more resources than 5 virtual machines running at the same time 😉).
When I open all the apps I use in addition to AetherSDR, the connection quality is also "EXCELLENT" for 5-10 minutes. and then “PUR” again and I have to restart the app.

Note regarding AetherSDR DAX:
The volume level—as indicated by the meter reading in the video, despite being set to 100%—is very low. I have to play back the recording at 100% volume to understand anything.
