When the network conditions are not optimum, There are sometimes high pitch pops due to packet loss (even with original smartSDR). I understand that the radio sending algorithm and protocol is not in scope for variable bit rate or something like that, but if we can't recover the missing packets in the stream, could a filter be developed on the reconstruction side to just make them silences instead of sharp annoying cracks? I dont know, can the gaps in the resulting waveform just be filled in with a smoothed transition? thanks, MN k4kfi
