What happened?
I am running an application on Windows that automates my antenna tuner. The connection is established via TCP/IP. AetherSDR (or SmartSDR) is installed on my MacBook Pro.
Consequently, due to the different computers involved, I enter the MacBook's IP address—rather than "localhost" (127.0.0.1)—into the tuner application settings. Port 60010 is configured for VFO1 (SO1R), and Port 60012 is configured for VFO2 (SO2R).
When I use xCAD by DL3LSM [Link: https://dl3lsm.blogspot.com/p/downloads.html], the connection establishes immediately and works flawlessly. However, when I attempt to use the CAT/TCP function within AetherSDR, no connection can be established.
Nevertheless, within AetherSDR, as soon as I launch the tuner application on Windows, the software does detect the connection attempts; specifically, it displays "(1 Client)" in parentheses next to both Port 60010 and Port 60012.
Thank you in advance!
Mathias, DD5MD

Steps to reproduce
I have tested this scenario using AetherSDR on the same Windows machine where the tuner application is installed (in which case I used "localhost" as the IP address), as well as with AetherSDR installed on Linux. A connection remains impossible across all three operating systems: macOS, Windows, and Linux.
AetherSDR version
0.9.8
Radio model & firmware
FLEX-8600M & v3.8.23 (stable Firmware, newer firmware where SmartSignal has already been implemented cannot be used )
Operating system
macOS
OS version and hardware
MacBook Pro, 16″, Nov. 2024, Apple M4 Pro, 48GB RAM, macOS 26.4.1 (Tahoe)
