What happened?
Resubmitted this bug because it is NOT the same as #1603 as Claude incorrectly closed this issue! A different root cause was found by Claude and it involves moving the pan slider, not clicking L or Right. Here's the symptoms:
I found that the L-R panning slider does not change the audio to go from the left to right PC speaker when shifted. When in the middle, the audio is louder than when at the left or right limits although both speakers sound the same. I installed builds back to 9.2.1 and audio panning worked. Release 9.3 does not work right.
The commit hashes to investigate the loss of panning are between:
version 0.9.2.1 commit hash 49f1df7
version 0.9.3 commit hash 716ee11
Although the Windows build has not completed yet for version 0.9.7 I compiled it myself and found the inability to pan the audio left to right is still broken.
Tried this on multiple PC's.
What did you expect?
When L-R slider is to left limit, sound out of left speaker, nothing out of right speaker
When L-R slider is to right limit, sound out of right speaker, nothing out of left speaker
Steps to reproduce
Open a frequency
Change panning control L-R from left to right
Audio comes out both channels
AetherSDR version
0.9.7
Radio model & firmware
Flex 6600 version 4.2.18
Operating system
Windows
