Hamlib bug at AetherSDR. #2108

Description

Report preparation

  • I used the AI-assisted bug report tool (Help → Support → File an Issue)
  • I have attached a support bundle or log file

What happened?

Hello all,

it seems that AetherSDR does not have the Hamlib emulation complete, at rigctld there is an option to send CW messages with the 'b' character, like it says here:

Image

However, when software sends that 'b' character answer of AetherSDR is this one:

[16:13:41.059] DBG: rigctld cmd: "|f" -> resp: "get_freq:|Frequency: 14023224|RPRT 0"
[16:13:41.178] DBG: rigctld cmd: "b" -> resp: "RPRT -1"
[16:13:41.289] DBG: rigctld cmd: "|f" -> resp: "get_freq:|Frequency: 14023224|RPRT 0"

If you see AetherSDR answers with a "RPRT -1".

May you correct it please ?

Maybe better would be to implement everything from list:

What did you expect?

I would be expected to be send well.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect radio
  2. Start AetherSDR
  3. Start Not1mm software
  4. Hit F1 to call
  5. Radio does not send CW memory
