Report preparation
What happened?
Some popup windows do work as expected and they always did.
These popup windows crash in Settings:
Radio Setup
Flex Control
USB Cables
Claude thinks this is a Wayland Xwayland issue. I disagree.
AetherSDR is absolutely running in full Wayland. Hence the tests he suggested to test the bug did not resolve it. AetherSDR is not running in Xwayland.
All the tests I ran on the accelerated graphics environments work here with good high frame rates.
There has to be something wrong in the way that the three popup windows that cause the crash are coded. If AetherSDR is in full Wayland and then the popups crash, this can't be some Xwayland fallback, unless there is something not right in the popup code (I would think).
I didn't repost all of the test results and so on. But all I can think that is happening is that on the three crash inducing popups there is some code issue.
I can't think of any other tests to run here than I already did (but I am open to anything), and simple Wayland or EGL environment variable forcing does not change anything since the app is actually following those directives and the three popup windows crash anyway.
Plasma is at: 6.6.4
QT is at: 6.11.0
Wayland is at: 1.25.0
Mesa is at: 26.0.4

What did you expect?
All popup windows open without crashing.
Steps to reproduce
Start AetherSDR
Click Settings
Click Radio Setup or Flex Control or USB Cables
Boom, crash.
Radio model & firmware
Never gets there
Linux distro & Qt version
