Marcus Roskosch has recently added CommonRadioAudio driver compatibility to his SmartSDR software . . . this has allowed me to route audio thru my software mixer (CASTER) on my Macs. This has been a great advantage for both TX and RX for audio processing/noise reduction.
Currently if I try to use the driver already installed Aether simply closes with no error message.

I would like to request CommonRadioAudio driver compatibility for AetherSDR as well!
