A lot of these workflows are using deprecated actions with old Node versions.
As a follow-up, we should set up Dependabot to automate this.
.github/workflows/release.yamlalso needs to be re-written to avoid usage ofactions/create-releaseandactions/upload-release-assetwhich are archived.
