Site Editor Navigation: "Go to menu item" link works inconsistently for posts and terms  #53336

Description

The "Go to [Item]" option in the sidebar Site Editor Navigation works as expected when the item is a page:

Site-Editor-Navigation-go-to-page.mp4

But this is not consistent with other item types. For instance, if the menu item is a term, clickig on "Go to [term name]" does not have any effect:

Screen.Capture.on.2023-08-04.at.12-30-19.mov

And if the item is a post, it takes you to an unrelated navigation section showing this message: Navigation menu missing.

Screen.Capture.on.2023-08-04.at.12-30-43.mp4

To avoid confusion, we might want to remove this option from certain menu item types until we have direct support for the "Go to" link for these menu item types.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Create a navigation menu and add a page, a post and a term.
  2. Visit the menu using the sidebar Navigation section
  3. Click on the "more options" menu for each of the times and try the "Go to" link.
