In the WordPress admin, when I'm logged in as a Contributor, I can see the titles and other metadata of drafts in progress:
When I GET /wp/v2/posts status=draft as a contributor, drafts in progress from other authors aren't included in the response because WP_REST_Posts_Controller::check_read_permission() filters them out.
Importantly: Contributors shouldn't be able to see the body content of drafts in progress by other authors — only the metadata expected to be visible in the Manage Posts list table.
