In #1716, @jamesmisson added a setting to CONFIG.md, and as a side effect, the file was significantly reformatted, presumably by automatic IDE settings. I think most of these changes are for the best, but I thought it would be confusing to include them along with the other PR, so I have split the edits out to a separate commit here.
While reviewing this, I also noticed a punctuation error in the panelCollapsedWidth setting documentation (missing spaces causing a missing line break), so I have corrected that here. It is the only change that differs from @jamesmisson's version.
Once this is approved and merged, I will resolve conflicts with #1716 and get that approved and merged as well.
