Current behavior:

Search result indicators do not display correctly in the thumbnail panel. This seems to be a long-standing problem that has gotten progressively worse over time.

When you have performed a search, the gallery correctly shows search counts like this:

(Note the blue magnifying glass counts).

However, in the regular thumbnail panel, as of release 4.1.0, they appear as plain numbers that break up the layout of the panel, like this:

Even if I go back to 4.0.0, the display is not correct -- the layout problems are not present, but the numbers are not labeled and their meaning is unclear relative to their appearance in the gallery:

Expected behavior:

Search results should display consistently in all contexts.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://www.universalviewer.dev and search for vererbung in the default manifest. Scroll down the thumbnail panel and you will see the problem.
