Now that workflows is aligned with the general SciTools pre-commit structure (via templating), it gets a lot more updates.

This means a lot more automatic releases (a new one every time there is a merge to main), and that then propagates across SciTools via dependabot. It's very noisy! 🙉

How would everyone feel about changing the release workflow to just be once per week? Of course that would only happen if any changes took place that week, so maybe none during holiday periods.
