Describe the bug
v3.1.5 - going full screen - visually hides the interface, but won't resize the image to take that space, unless you toggle interface hiding explicitly.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open any image
2. Go full screen
3. Interface gets visually hidden, but image is not resized to take up the freed up space.

5. Hide interface while still in full-screen - image gets resized.

Expected behavior
See 2 screenshots above.

Expected - either image is resized (preferred) or interface is not visually hidden.
