Master's student graduate from UCSC in Natural Language Processing seeking AI/ML Engineer position and aspiring PhD student for Computational Psychiatry.

  1. Emotion Discovery and Reasoning its Flip in Conversation - SemEval Task 10 2024 ((https://github.com/deckerkrogh/semeval-2024-10)):
  • Performing emotion analysis in multiparty conversations in sitcom shows MaSac and MELD
  • Baseline BERT reached a .95 weighted F1 Score for emotion recognition while GRU with BERT embeddings performed .79 for binary emotion flip reasoning in Hinglish code-mixed
  • Approved for NAACL 2024 Workshop, completed all 3 subtasks with one score tied for first.
