you can now compile osrm on mac by running 'scons', although you will need stxxl, boost, etc to be installed beforehand. (the brew formula can take care of that).
i had to move things around a bit, and can only test on mac, so please let me know if something is broken on other platforms.
i removed the rakefile for now.
