Pixelvation Engine

Hardware

Ordering through JLCPCB

  • Go to the JLCPCB order page
  • Upload the gerbers.zip file
  • Choose 5 or 10 boards (you could do more, 10 was the sweet spot for me price wise)
  • Choose LeadFree HASL-Rohs
    • Not required but it's good to go Lead Free when possible
  • Add on the SMT Assembly, top side only
  • On the next page, upload the BOM and PLC files
  • Make sure the components are in stock and will be placed
  • On the verification page, make sure the components are oriented matching this photo
    • Note D1 is missing from this photo as it was out of stock when I ordered

Other Parts Needed

  • ESP-01 Programmer
  • 1x 2x8 0.1" header
  • 1x 2x10 0.1" header
    • Or 3x 1x4 0.1" headers will work, not all pins need to be connected on input connector
  • Any SMT parts that JLCPCB couldn't place
  • 2x8 Ribbon cable to connect between Pixelvation Engine and HUB75 panel
  • Wires to connect from APA102 input to Pixelvation Engine input pins
