are sure all these icons are currently being used?

It's the same as the logo on the back of my current laptop, which means it's been in use for at least 3 years.

I installed Debian though, so I can't check within the OS (if that's what you meant).

@achadwick i meant about four icons, including two symbolic ones. I've heard about Tuxedo, but thought we only needed one distributor logo.

@morganist Tuxedo is my current distro. Tbh, when I made the symbolic one I was thinking of this
Captura de pantalla_20250122_163538
Tuxedo has some of their own apps and a symbolic icon seems to be the style of what plasma is using for the launcher categories. I know it wasn't part of the original request, but it made sense to me.
I guess it could be used as a start-here icon for the launcher as well. TBH I keep trying to set the KDE symbolic one without result, but then again I'm mostly just winging it.
Do let me know if I should delete the symbolic ones.

@wilwarindi just make sure you've used correct icon names here and that they are actually used. you can check locally by running sudo make install in the project folder

p.s. please check what icon is used for the 'Internet' category in your app menu; Plasma has a Menu Editor app for that

I was doing that without success. Then I realized the problem was that I was using the Plasma function for downloading icons, and it sources them from pling.com which was last updated in May 2024, so it's very out of date. I updated the icon pack from here, and it's working fine now.

(I'm changing computers atm. I had the updated icon pack in my previous pc)

Anyways, I trimmed down the amount of icons, and changed the names and location of the symbolic ones. I realize this distro is only one among many, so this is probably more than enough icons for it.

I improved on your design a bit. I hope you like how it looks with shadows and outlines, and by the way, don't forget to ungroup objects in the future to avoid matrix transforms!
