Description of the issue:

Poor performance especially on upscaled internal resolutions. Rectangle artifact in the top left of the screen in hardware mode. Aliasing issues and shadows looking like boxes.

How to reproduce the issue:
Happens anytime in gameplay.

Last known version to work:
1.4.0
The performance is a lot better on 1.4.0, but the graphical issues are still present.
