Transformer losses can cause negative de-rate for battery to grid powerflow calculations #847

@brtietz

Description

@brtietz

Describe the bug
PVSAMV1 has code that helps anticipate the losses for the battery, which is used during outages and to calculate electricity from battery to grid. When the battery discharges at night, this can cause the transformer loss to be negative, and cause nonsensical values to appear in the battery to grid column. Note that this has no impact on system output power (gen).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run the attached SAM file:
    Catalina.zip

  2. Compare electricity from battery to grid at night with electricity to/from battery or gen

Expected behavior
In this case, electricity from battery to grid should match gen.
