Brief summary of issue / Description of requested feature:

Occasionally encountering an issue where autocomplete pops up and prevents typing. Need to esc to remove the autocomplete, but will pop up again with another relevant letter.

Steps to reproduce the issue / Reasons for adding feature:

1. Unknown to why it begins.
2. Typing a letter that has a corresponding lua command in the autocomplete.

Error output / Expected result of feature

Expected result: Being able to continue typing outside of autocomplete.
