Brief summary of issue / Description of requested feature:
Create a Mudlet user interface tour that highlights the most important UI points of Mudlet for first-time players: mainly the input line and the main window.
Steps to reproduce the issue / Reasons for adding feature:
- Better onboarding experience for first-time players
Error output / Expected result of feature
The tour should be quite short and cover only the most important elements of Mudlet (input line, main window) in a clear, concise manner.
This would be a less in-depth approach to learning Mudlet than #3072, more suitable for folks who want to get up and running quicker. It would not replace #3072 but be complementary.
Because in the greater gaming community Mudlet is very niche, the tour should be very noticeable, to the point of almost obtrusive on the first launch of Mudlet (and only then) so people really don't miss it by accident. At the same one, a skip option shall be included so experienced players aren't bothered too much by it.
Extra information, such as the Mudlet version, operating system and ideas for how to solve / implement:
We could try following Qt Creator's approach:
