This guide covers OTA firmware updates for Room Server/Repeater or Repeater.

1. Download the Firmware

   • Go to https://flasher.meshcore.co.uk/
   • Select Room Server/Repeater or Repeater
   • Download the non-merged .bin file ( WARNING if you flash merged it will wipe the device)

2. Connect to the Device

   • Open the MeshCore companion app
   • Select your device to be update
   • Log in with the admin password

3. Open Remote Management

   • Tap the ⋯ menu (top right)
   • Choose Remote Management

4. Launch the Command Line

   • Scroll to the bottom
   • Tap Command Line
   • Enter start ota

5. Connect to OTA Network

   • On your phone/computer, join Wi-Fi: MeshCore-OTA

6. Upload the Firmware

   • In a browser go to
     http://192.168.4.1/update
     (or use the IP shown in the CLI)
   • Upload the downloaded .bin file
   • Wait for the update to finish

7. Confirm the Update

   • Reopen the app
   • Verify the firmware version via Remote Management

Troubleshooting

• OTA network missing? Restart device, rerun start ota
• Stay connected to MeshCore-OTA during upload
• Ensure you’re using the correct non-merged .bin
