What does this Pull Request do?
I'm adding a temporary patch for #504. I thought the Action Scheduler people would have reviewed the patch/released an update by now, but in the meantime I'm seeing enough reports about this issue that we need a temporary solution.
I think #504 should stay open for the time being, but this can at least let me release a plugin update.
How do I test this Pull Request?
